Alli Weimer

My name is Allison Weimer and have recently been accepted into the IEETL (International ECYD Encounter of Team Leaders) Program taking place during the Jubilee of Youth in Rome, Italy from July 22 to August 4, 2025. 

Joining me in Rome will be nine other ECYD members from across the North American territory, along with 90 other young ECYD leaders from across the world, each bringing with them their unique cultural perspective and experience of ECYD and Regnum Christi, in this once in a lifetime opportunity.  I am excited to bring my own unique experience of Calgary ECYD to Rome while also discovering ECYD in an International context.  This opportunity will more clearly reveal the beauty of the Regnum Christi charism and mission so I can return to Calgary as a better apostle of Jesus Christ.

I became an ECYD member during Holy Week Missions three years ago and since that time, God has opened so many doors for me to grow in my spiritual life.  This past summer, I had the opportunity to join the ECYD Mission Corps in Atlanta, GA along with ECYD members from Spain and the USA.  I am currently a Team Leader with the St. James Parish ECYD Virtue Club helping to journey alongside 30 girls in grades 1-8. I attend Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks, AB and am in Grade 10.

I am humbly asking for help in my fundraising goal of $3,500 to make this opportunity a reality.  Thank you for your consideration of support and your prayers as I represent our locality this summer.
